Verona

Lake Garda

Lake Garda is one of the most fascinating and well-known natural gems in Italy. Located just a short drive from Verona, it offers a wide range of activities and natural beauties to explore. Among the must-visit places you find Sirmione with its famous thermal baths, Malcesine, Riva del Garda, and Limone sul Garda. Regional Park of Lessinia

A territory filled with emotions, to live in perfect harmony with the wonderful nature and historical traces dating back to the dawn of time. The park is located in the northern part of the province of Verona, encompassing a geographical area ranging from 1,200 meters to the peaks. The park includes all the Veronese mountains except for Mount Baldo. The park features an extensive network of trails for hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding, and also offers the opportunity for winter sports.

The fauna in the park includes deer, roe deer, alpine chamois, marmots, foxes, weasels, beech martens, hares, squirrels, and dormice, in addition to numerous species of wild birds such as the golden eagle, peregrine falcon, capercaillie,  ountain pheasant, tawny owl, black woodpecker, and water ouzel. The territory of the park is also home to porcupines, and the wolf, which has recently recolonized Lessinia.
